YouNote is a software-as-a-service platform that summarizes publicly available YouTube videos into concise notes, outlines, and transcripts using AI. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
To use YouNote, you must provide accurate information, including your name and payment information. By subscribing, you agree to pay any applicable fees.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
New users are eligible for a free trial. After the trial period, a subscription is required to access YouNote's features. If no subscription is started after the free trial, all user data will be deleted a few days after the trial period ends.
4. Privacy & Data
- Data We Collect. Account metadata (email, login events), usage metrics, and technical logs (IP, device, cookies) to deliver and secure the Service.
- Security. We implement industry‑standard safeguards appropriate for a SaaS of our size and stage; no method is 100% secure.

5. Acceptable Use
- No scraping, crawling, or rate‑limit evasion.
- No reverse engineering, security testing without consent, or sharing credentials.
- No unlawful, harmful, or misleading activity; no automated bulk use that degrades service quality.
6. Changes to Service & Terms
Features, pricing, and technical limits may change. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes become effective 7 days after notice (email or in‑app). Continued use constitutes acceptance.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SUMMARY OUTPUTS CAN CONTAIN ERRORS OR OMISSIONS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YouNote\'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR USD $50, WHICHEVER IS LESS. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
9. Governing Law; Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Venue and jurisdiction lie exclusively in the courts located in Singapore. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
